  • Automatic Vertical Bandsaws

Benefits of an Automatic Vertical Bandsaw

An automatic vertical bandsaw is equipped with motorized controls that automate aspects of the cutting process. They automate the raising and lowering of the cutting blade, cutting speed, and have automatic shut-off features after a cut is complete.

    Why Choose an Automatic Bandsaw?

The main selling feature for these machines are their material indexing, which make repetitive cuts easy and efficient. Overall, automatic bandsaws are more efficient than manual ones and reduce operator fatigue.

    Who Are They For?

They are great for metalworking shops of all sizes, big or small, as long as the cost is justified.

  • Manual Vertical Bandsaws

A manual vertical bandsaw can be a great option for metalworking operations of all sizes, specifically those looking for an affordable, reliable machine. They are much less expensive than automatic alternatives.

As the name implies, operators are required to manually position their metal parts, adjust cutting speeds and blade tension, and control cutting pressure.

With less hydraulic and electrical components, manual bandsaws are easier and more affordable when it comes to maintenance. Many metalworkers prefer them because they are able to do their own maintenance and repairs.

The downside of manual saws is that they are less efficient, however, in the right hands they are great machines that can serve you extremely well.
